If anyone has insurance with Bankers Life and Casualty you need to find some other insurance company. If you ever need to use the insurance for long term care good luck. My mother has this insurance for long term care and it is not worth it. I have been trying to get her claims paid for Bankers Life and Casualty for the past 6 months and the company is still giving the run around. They have lost all the paper work twice and it has been sent in three times. They want the premiums paid on time, but when it comes to them paying, it is a long process. If you do not have alot of money set aside to take care of someone then thier quality of life can go down. My mother is in assisted living and the monthly bill is $4000.00 per month. Bankers Life and Casualty says that their number one thing is service and to service their clients, which most are seniors. In my opinion Bankers Life and Casualty is hoping that their clients die or run out of money so they do not have to pay for claims. Again if you have any insurance with Bankers Life and Casualty or any of their other companies, get away from the company or companies and find another that will respect your business and you as a client and pay your claims when filed and not continue giving you the run around.

By the way...

www.ltc-consultant.com has a new design, and I think it looks pretty cool. I know the guy who did it, and he spent a lot of time upgrading to CSS-P so that the site will be available to lots of different types of devices. You should tell him what you think of it.

I just finished reading an article about AIG and collusion allegations by the New York Department of Justice. AIG’s Chairman, Hank Greenberg, is defending the business practices.

As a businessman, I understand that a business must do what it can to increase profits. I also know that the executives of public companies are under extreme pressure to constantly drive up the share prices of their
