How to Get a Countrywide Loan Modification Under New Federal Loan Guidelines by Lindsy Emery

This article tells you what you need to know in order to apply for and qualify for a Countrywide loan modification under President Obama's new Federal Plan. This mortgage lender is now taking applications from mortgage holders who face financial hardship. If you feel you need to lower your mortgage payments in order to avoid foreclosure on your home, read on to learn how to qualify.
First, you will need to gather certain paperwork for Countrywide loan modification. The Treasury Department has proved Countrywide to offer its borrowers loan modification, featuring the following terms:
-- reduction in interest rates down to as low as 2%; -- extension of loan terms to as long as 40 years; -- deferral of principal.
The federal loan modification plan is designed to provide homeowners who qualify with a new monthly payment, equaling just 31% of gross monthly income. This target payments includes all monthly costs: principal, taxes, interest, insurance, and any homeowner's dues. President Obama's plan allows for a first mortgage modification, as well as for a second loan, but there is a separate plan for loan modification of second loans. The federal plan offers cash incentives to lenders, in exchange for lowering the monthly payments on all qualifying loans.
You need to be the following terms in order to qualify for a Countrywide loan modification through President Obama's plan:
-- the loan must have originated prior to January 1, 2009; -- the current mortgage payment must exceed 31% of your monthly gross income; -- the loan must be for under $729,750 for single unit properties; the rate is higher for two to four unit properties.
Here is where the paperwork comes in. You will need to prove that you can maintain payments under the loan modification terms, by submitting a financial statement of your current expenses, along with your proof of income. Start by collecting your bank statements and pay stubs, along with your latest IRS tax form. If you can complete the paperwork properly, and meet the basic approval guidelines, you stand a good chance of receiving a Countrywide loan modification. There is no need to feel overwhelmed by the paperwork process, if you take things one step at a time, use a loan modification guide to help you work through the steps, and ask any questions you may have along the way. The main point is to take your time and do it right, since this is a one-time opportunity.

Negative Effects of Medical Malpractice by Amy Nutt

Every year, medical malpractice is a serious problem for thousands of people across the country. Medical malpractice occurs when a heath care professional fails to provide a patient with a standard quality of care which results in injury or harm to the patient.
Medical malpractice can take place in any health facility by any type of medical personnel that can include doctors, nurses, hospital workers, dentists, eye doctors, surgeons, etc. An article published in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) noted that 'every year in the United States 12,000 patient deaths occurred due to unnecessary surgery, 7,000 deaths were caused by medication errors in hospitals, and 20,000 deaths resulted from other errors in hospitals.' The Journal of the American Association for Justice stated that a decade ago 'as many as 98,000 people died every year from preventable medical errors, costing the nation an estimated $29 billion dollars.'
Medical malpractice can result from a number types of mistakes such as anesthesia errors, birth errors, defective drugs, or products, medical experimentation, improper diagnosis, medication errors, nursing home abuse, surgical errors, wrongful death, failing to take appropriate medical action, and much more.
Medical malpractice can negatively affect all aspects of one's life, from the physical and emotional damage to serious financial hardships. Such hardships can include:
- Loss of Work - Loss of Wages - Permanent Disability - Loss of Quality of Life - Loss of Future Wages - Soaring Medical Expenses - Long Term or Life Long Medical Expenses - Chronic Pain - Disfigurement - Emotional Trauma
When a death occurs as a result of medical malpractice, negligence, or other liability, the surviving dependents or beneficiaries may be entitled to monetary damages in order to help pay for medical costs and other expenses incurred by the family of the victim.
'Medication errors are among the most common medical errors, harming at least 1.5 million people every year,' says a new report from the Institute of Medicine of the National Academies. The reported also reported that 'extra medical costs of treating drug-related injuries occurring in hospitals alone conservatively amount to $3.5 billion a year.' These costs have resulted in an increase in health insurance premiums.
Even after receiving sufficient information from patients, medical professionals can still make an incorrect diagnosis resulting in personal injury or death. If you feel that you have suffered an injury as a result of medical malpractice, you may be able to file a medical malpractice claim. The best way to determine if you have a claim is to consult with an attorney that specializes in medical malpractice.
If medical malpractice has been confirmed, you will still have to prove that the malpractice resulted in injury or harm. If a medical malpractice attorney has proven injury or harm, then you may be compensated for:
- Medical Expenses (Current and Future) - Rehabilitation - Pain and Suffering - Special health Care Assistance Devices and Equipment - Care and Assistance in the home - Loss of Wages (Present and Future) - Travel expenses - Punitive Damages
It is often difficult to know if you need a medical malpractice attorney. When you file a medical malpractice claim, your health care provider's insurance company may attempt to compensate you for the least amount possible. If you think you are the victim of malpractice, consulting with a lawyer that specializes in malpractice will help determine if there is a case. An experienced medical malpractice lawyer can help you recover compensation for many different types of losses due to the negligence of another working in the health care field.

How to Choose a RV Storage Facilities by Johnson8547a

A rising pastime for vacationing families in US is RVing. RV is the abbreviation for Recreational Vehicle. It refers to a vehicle which can be used both as an automobile as well as a temporary travel home. RVs are used both for leisure activities as well as for full-time living. RVs may be rented or purchased. There are different RV models available like a truck camper, folding trailer, travel trailer, teardrop trailer and so on. For an average hardworking American, investing in RVs provides equal vacation opportunities as purchasing a vacation home. This is an investment that needs to be protected and well maintained and hence, the need for RV storage.
Most users use their RV only few times in a year. This means that its storage arrangements have to be made when not used. RV storage issues like choosing a facility, accessibility, weather protection and insurance have to be taken into consideration.
When choosing a place for your RV storage, factors like cost, monthly or annual contracts, access hours, insurance, taxes, security and access to the onsite manager have to be considered. Also look out for extra facilities like RV cover, tire cover, winterization, battery charging, cleaning, periodical checks etc. Outdoor storage is cheaper but poses certain limits. Outside storage exposes the RVs to the risk of weather related damages like harsh sunlight, rains, winds, hail and aging. Also, a threat of animals and insects prevails. During winter, winterizing is time consuming.
Offsite self storage facilities are also available. They are secure and quite affordable too. Many such facilities have gated RV parking and storage with flexible access timings. A large parking space is available behind the gated facility.
Indoor RV storage is the best option for an owner who wants to maintain their RV in good condition all through the year. Indoor storage offers many benefits. The most important one is that the RVs are not exposed to the destructive and harsh conditions of the nature. Indoor storing minimises the risk to harsh sunlight and weather conditions. This prevents damages made to the interior and exterior of the RV and deflation of tires. It also provides protection from stains, animal scratches, bird excreta, damage to the paint, cracking of the roof and other potential threats from water damage. Thus, reducing the maintenance cost by the end of the season.
Indoor storage of the RV provides protection from street hoodlum and burglars. There is no violation of rules and regulations by storing your RV inside. Insurance companies also prefer indoor storage of RV. Inside storage also reduces the risk of home burglaries even when you are on a vacation without your RV. During winter, the problem of winterizing the RV doesn't arise.
RV's are thus an ideal investment for vacations. So protecting this investment is the highest priority of RV owners. Though outdoor storage is cheap, indoor RV storage is a logical and wise choice since it ensures complete peace to the owners.

The Best Maryland Car Insurance - Factors to be Considered by Crex Sky

Maryland is a busy state and it requires more auto insurances than many other states in the US. The amount of premium is also generally high in the state of Maryland. Here you will have to carry liability insurance for at least US$ 100,000. The purpose of liability insurance is to protect you from unforeseen expenditures if you meet an accident. This will cover all the bills of the garage, expenditure of medical treatment and any other payout that you may have to face. Here are some tips in case you are planning to buy Maryland auto insurance.
Try to get a pool car or public transport. Insurance companies offer discounts if the insurer uses public transport like buses or ferries or a pool car facility for regular transportation. As you will be using your vehicle less often, there is less chance for accident. Maryland auto insurance companies take this into account and the premium rate gets cheaper.
High end car requires increased rate of premium. Therefore, if you are driving a hatchback, mention it in your insurance agreement and you will get concessional rate. If you have installed any kind of safety devices in your car, it will also reduce the premium rate further. Central locking, motion arrester, GPS location device, electronic car locking system , night vision apparatus - all these helps in reducing the accident rate and the rate of premium you are supposed to pay normally.
If you have more than one car in your possession, insure them under an umbrella of a single auto insurance company. This will enable you to get discount under multiple-policy discount scheme.

Keeping Your Car Safe in Auto Transport by Jennifer Strong

Purchasing large things, such as cars, has become easy with the help of the Internet. Businesses are finding it much easier to market themselves as well. Many consumers find themselves online seeking cheaper services or prices, and these are often found outside of the given living area. Auto transport is one such service, and when someone purchases or needs to move a vehicle, such services are easily found online.
At the same time, there are plenty of not-so-good companies waiting in the shadows of the World Wide Web. Be careful with the hiring of these services, and make sure that the company has a good reputation and that they take care of the vehicles in their charge. There is no reason to fall for one of the many moving and transport scams out there, and you should be careful when considering which company to use and how much to pay.
Comparing Prices
One of the first things that you should do when seeking car hauling companies is compare the prices of the services that you need. All good companies will be happy to give you a free moving quote for your needs when you contact them, so you should be sure to contact more than a single company. Be wary of quotes that are very low, as the company might be hiding fees and other costs that will raise the price quite a bit. This is also one of the red flags that a company is not totally forthcoming.
Looking at Reputation
Another important thing to look at when choosing an auto transport company for your vehicles is the reputation of the company. You should be able to get references from various companies, and you should contact them for more information about the company. You can also check with the better business bureau in order to find information about the company. Make sure that you verify there are no big complaints about the service or the employees of the company.
Extra Costs and Company History
Company history is an important thing to look at as well. You should always hire a company that has a history longer than a month or two. The history of a company is one of the only ways you can tell if a company follows through on what they say. Look at the history of any accidents as well as licenses and any tickets that you might be able to find.
Always ask about extra costs, including insurance, as these costs may make the overall price of the services unaffordable. Make sure to add everything together before you choose a company to haul your vehicles. No matter why you need to transport your cars, it is vital to find the best company for your specific needs.
